    1871 THREE-CENT NICKEL.
    These coins were made from 1865 through 1889. This is a nice early U.S. Type Coin for your collection. Lots of nice detail with a light porous planchet. The vertical lines in 111 back are all separated. LIBERTY on the coronet is somewhat readable as this seems to be a rather poor strike. All 3 Cent nickel pieces were made in Philadelphia.
