Wow, there's a lot more then what meets the eye in this sleeper! Total high performance driveline from the World Class hemi to the Dana 60 rear. Only 4,000 miles since built. It comes with folders stuffed with invoices and detailed specs. They started with a survivor Coronet with original metal interior and paint. It was a 1 owner until 2010, he took exceptional care of this car and performed regular maintenance.
EXTERIOR: The body has 100% original metal with no rust. It is straight, the panels fit precisely, no bubbles. It has most of it's original metallic green paint. It was prepped and clear coated for a durable, glossy shine. The glass is all crystal clear, the windshield has a 1974 Pennsylvania sticker. All the stainless moldings around the windows are polished and straight. The bumpers, handles, mirror have original chrome with some patina. The door jambs are clean original with an old oil change sticker, the weather strips are still very good. It has a new set of chrome 15 inch Cragar wheels with Kumho tires, fatter in back.
INTERIOR: The interior is completely original with the exception of new carpet. It is in excellent condition! To preserve the original upholstery clear plastic seat covers were custom installed. It has deluxe seat belts front and back. The door panels, headliner and visors are original in excellent condition. As a matter of fact, the whole dash area is excellent original. A mini tachometer and oil pressure gauge was carefully installed on the steering column.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: They started with a new World Class 426 Hemi block and it was built and Dyno tuned by Muscle Motors. The dyno sheet says it makes 496 hp and 481 lbs of torque. Has forged crank and rods, Keith Black pistons, ARP bolts, Powerband balancer, Comp cam and valvetrain. Mopar Performance aluminum heads with stainless valves. Mopar aluminum intake with dual 600 carbs. TTI ceramic coated headers. Mallory dual point distributor with Pertronix ignition was curved and set up by Splinter Race Craft. Upgraded aluminium radiator, all hoses, clamps, thermostat and fluid replaced. The owner says it runs cool even on hot days. Reproduction Mopar battery is properly bolted down, has new cables. The Certicard with original owner's info is still in it's pocket, original fender tag is attached.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the trunk is rock solid original metal with it's original green paint in very good condition. The bottom of the trunk lid even has the original jacking instructions decal and crayon writing telling the assembly line worker what size spare to install. As a matter of fact under the floor mat is an original tire for a spare and it also has the jack assembly.
UNDERSIDE: Bottom of the motor looks fresh, has an extra capacity Miloden oil pan and high torque starter. Professionally rebuilt 727 Torqueflite trans using A&A performance parts, 11 inch street hemi converter, 1,800 stall, 6,000 governor and an external cooler. New u-joints on the large tube, balanced driveshaft. In back is a Dana 60 rear with 3.73 sure grip gears, HD housing, Yukon axles, 7290 yoke and chrome cover. Custom TTI 3 inch exhaust with x-pipe and Dynamax mufflers. The front end was completely rebuilt with a Just Suspensions front end kit including bushings, balljoints, tie rods, pitman arm, gas shocks and more. New steering box and related parts. New rear suspension including Hemi springs, new shackles, bushings, u-bolts and shocks. The brake system was rebuilt, upgraded with disc in front.
This is one of the best documented cars I've seen. From the name of the dealer that sold the car new to what brand and mix of antifreeze is in it today. The folders are stuffed with all the details. There is much more information available than what I wrote about. This is the ultimate sleeper!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.

    About Volo Auto Museum
No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum.  Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960.  We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos.  For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion.  Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.
Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful.  We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after.  Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift.  No reasonable request will be turned down.
Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn’t have to be.  After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you.  We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else’s.   Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner.  This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own.  We invest approximately 00 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn’t sell, we lose, not you.  So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
