Chilmark Jovine Stallion Horse Western Ranch Farm Sculpture Pewter Figurine RARE

Up for auction is a very hard to find beautifully detailed life like Chilmark pewter figurine by famed artist Marcel Jovine in excellent condition. This sculpture is titled "The Leader" measures 8" tall and mounted on a 4 1/2" diameter solid wood base. Amazing detail showing the horses leg muscles, ribs, thick flowing mane down his neck to his shoulders, wide bushy tail and even the veins on the face from his open mouth with flaring nostrils. This stunning mustang is rearing up and standing on his back legs. The horse is on a rock cliff w/ a tree growing out of the rock formation behind his hind legs (see pics). This piece has the Chilmark Lance pewter trademark gold stamp on the statue and on the bottom. This piece is engraved on the side by the wood base number "187/2500 Marcel Jovine 83" This sculpture has the Chilmark emblem on the bottom stamped "The Leader Marcel Jovine Limited Edition 2500 1983 Chilmark Fine Pewter USA" (see pics).
I did notice a few small areas on the wood base where the stain is thinning and would be an easy fix with a matching wood marker.
This solid pewter statue would display nicely in any western decor cabin, Airbnb, home office desk art
. This lovely piece would look great in any pewter horse, mustang, rodeo, rancher western or Denver Broncos collection or a gift for horse or western collector.
