Description

Orphaned when the 26th Division was triangularized in 1942, the 182nd Infantry was shipped to New Caledonia with Task Force 6814, which became the Americal Division. Landing in Guadalcanal in November 1942, it was part of the provisional Combined Army-Marine Division defending Henderson Field and counterattacking the Japanese. The 132nd also fought in the Bougainville, Leyte, and Southern Philippines campaigns during World War II. P&H 3.95 for up to 3-4 insignia, depending on weight. Please pay within three days.
