Disney Beauty and the Beast Limited Edition cel in matching numbered set Framed.
This 2-piece set of cels is rare as these are Disney’s first release of Beauty and the Beast limited edition, hand painted numbered sericels. These are both numbered #171 of 500. Disney used the traditional animation techniques - transferred to 'cel', enhanced with hand-inked lines and hand-painted.
Includes:
Belle and Beast “On the Terrace” in the moonlight from Sequence 18, Scene 27.
Bel and Beast in a good old fashioned snowball fight while Lumiere, Mrs Potts and Cogsworth watch and sing “Something There” from Sequence 15.1, scene 64.1.
They measure about 24” wide and 20” tall. The frames do have minor marks and one corner is missing some laminate. Still both display great.
