This piece is a Limited Edition of 500 hand-painted character set-ups recreated from the original artwork from Disney’s classic, The Jungle Book.  “Jungle Pals”, recreates looking into the man village, Mowgli asks Baloo and Bagheera about the girl he sees fetching water.  The sighting ultimately lures him out of the jungle.  The approximate size of the cel is 11 ¼  X 15 ¼ in.. The cels were created from the animator’s original line drawings, transferred to acetate by a six-step process.  The background scene is recreated by using the original background paintings , sketches and frames from the film as reference.
