Frederick Remington The Wounded Bunkie on Marble Base Bronze Statue This Wounded Bunkie is a heart wrenching statue of one cavalryman trying to help another. The statue is 10 ¾” tall on a marble base that is approximately 10 ¾” by 7”. It weighs almost 18+lbs. You will receive it exactly as we did years ago. There may be some white specks from painting or normal on bronze statues. Here is the simple fix: Make a paste from either baking soda mixed with lemon juice or equal parts of flour and salt mixed with plain, white vinegar. Gently rub the paste onto the bronze and leave it for about 20 minutes. Rinse with distilled water and repeat for any areas that remain. The white specks are normal. The pictures have been lightened slightly so you can see the statue better. This very heavy piece may be shipped FedEx depending on where you live. FedEx does not ship to PO boxes.
