Learning to DJ has never been easier than with the DDJ-400 2-channel DJ controller for rekordbox dj. Packed with features to help you comfortably develop your skills, this controller’s layout mirrors that of Pioneer's flagship NXS2 set-up, with shared elements like dedicated cue buttons, Beat FX, CDJ-style looping controls and more. As a result, Pioneer's advanced DJ gear will feel natural to use when you’re ready to progress.
Bundled with Pioneer's professional performance software, rekordbox dj, its compatible Tutorial feature will help you master this controller's creative capabilities. Lightweight and portable, take the DDJ-400 with you to practice sessions or parties. You’ll soon feel at home while performing.

You'll have access to rekordbox dj's Tutorial feature. Follow along via your computer screen to learn how to use the gear and master DJ techniques.
Club-Style Layout
The DDJ-400's buttons and knobs are arranged in the same way as those on our professional NXS2 set-up. Develop your skills using an interface similar to that of our club-standard player, and enhance your mixes with Sound Color FX and Beat FX featuring curves taken from our DJM-900NXS2 mixer. You'll soon feel comfortable performing in DJ booths.
Beat FX
Apply professional FX that match the tempo of the track that’s currently playing by using the Beat FX feature. This will help you craft unique sets even if you’re just starting out.
Rekordbox DJ
You get a rekordbox dj license key bundled with this controller. Simply activate your license key for our DJ software, connect the controller and start DJing.
PC Master Out
For flexibility, you can choose to hear your mix through your computer’s internal speakers or connected desktop speakers. At the same time, you can use your headphones to cue independently of the master out.
Plug & Play
With a built-in sound card, simply connect the controller to your computer using the provided USB cable to power up and begin playing.

Products That Can't Be Returned
Items sold as "Clearance"/"Open Box" or similar promotion
Items that have sustained physical or accidental damage

Turntable Cartridges and needles.
Any product used at your mouth or ear due to sanitary issues, including, but not limited to: headphones, microphones, breath-controlled instruments, etc.
Pure software products that are sold separately from hardware, as required by Copyright Law
Spare parts (e.g. knobs, faders, stickers, etc.)
Items sold as part of a bundle. Bundles must be returned in their entirety, including all items. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis. Items in a bundle are valued at a discounted price from their individual sale price. Value after bundle discount will be determined at The DJ Hookup's sole discretion.
Restocking Fees
Why Restocking Fees /
Maintaining trust with our customers is our top priority. That means communicating clearly and honestly. If we sell an item as New, it must be absolutely, never-been-touched-since-the-factory New.
This means that products returned to us cannot be resold as New in good-faith, because they're not. Even if you only opened the box one time, looked around and browsed through the manual, to the next DJ or Producer, this item is no longer New. As a result, if you return a functioning piece of equipment, we must resell it as Used to the next customer, even if it still looks, sounds and smells great.
This is the level of honesty you expect from us. And it's the level of honesty we extend to all of our customers.
Since gear returned to us must be deeply discounted to be resold as Used, in addition to our cost of packaging, shipping and handling, we have to charge a restocking fee. This makes our extremely generous return policy viable. It's also the reason why so many pro-audio retailers don't allow returns at all.
But we figure you'd prefer our way.
