    Description

    This Remington Bronze Replica "The Cheyenne" was  personally purchased by my husband as a gift for me  in 1980 from Museum Collection Inc., it has been in my home since.
    This bronze comes with a certification letter that has it as cast number 331 of the Limited Edition  of 1000 sculptures.
    The Cheyenne, one of seven Remington bronzes Remington created was copy-righted in 1901 six years after he created his first sculpture "The Bronco Buster, which sits in the White House being gifted by president Roosevelt.
    This numbered edition of  "The Cheyenne" was commissioned by Museum Collections Inc. in cooperation with the Buffalo Bill Historical Center Cody WY.
    This edition is cast using  the lost wax process and patination Remington used for his original casts.
    Measurements are 19 inches nose to tail of the horse. 16 inches to the wood base. It weights 31 lbs.
    Inscribed on the base are the following :
    "Museum Collection Inc. marked with a c encircled, 1980, J. Dilorenzo, ( the sculptor), 331/1000 "
