WWI / WWII Gold Gilt Sterling Silver & Carnelian Military Pin w/ Eagles & Stars. Estate found shield type pin found with military items depicting a silver eagle on a carnelian square mounted in a gold gilt frame we believe to be either WWI or WWII. Pin measures 15/16" high x 5/8" wide, weighs 5 grams and marked partial "Sterling" on the back. Nice condition with pin catch working properly although does have a slight bend. Gold gilt shows minor wear as well as silver eagle in center. Fresh from an estate on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
