    For your consideration, is this authentic WWII U.S. Army Airborne jump wing paratrooper pin badge.
    Auction includes the Bronze Star lapel device has found with the jump wings.
    Full, tunic size badge.
    Marked: GEMSCO STERLING in raised letters.
    Condition: Very good, unpolished. Appears to be a "field" repair to the pin fastener hinge. Safety clasp is original and in perfect working order.
    Great patina, unpolished uncleaned, No dings. no dents.

    Please note: the brass pin fastener unit to the reverse appears to be a factory made pin fastener unit and not one that was hand fashioned from scrap material. I am not an expert in jump wings, but, do have extensive professional jewelry experience (20 years).
    The safety clasp is in excellent, original condition.

    Addendum: These jump wings are exactly as found (they were purchased by me from a WWII Army veteran's estate, along with an unnamed WWII Purple Heart Medal in issue box).
    I have not tampered, polished, cleaned or altered, modified nor "horsed around" with these jump wings. They are exactly as found.
