are sterling World War II Civilian Pilot Training ( CPT)  Pilot wing on the original numbered card. The wings have the Danecraft Company hallmark.  This pair of wings is 2-1/2" long. This was a civilian volunteer organization created on April 29, 1943. They patrolled coastal waters in anti-submarine activities. They also acted as air couriers, provided transportation, gave pre-military training, flew cargo and transportation as well as ferrying duties. This wing has not been buffed, polished, or messed with in any way.  Check out my other auctions as I am selling off some of my collection.
