    Description

This original USMC Paymaster bronze insignia was used starting in 1937, and continued use into World War II.  It was discontinued prior to 1946.
It has the original functioning screwback, and is on the original Officers Equipment Co. card, which is torn in half.
It depicts a wreathed sword and quill, and a center diamond with oak leaves and acorn.  (Note that while the wreathed sword and quill was used in the Army for the Judge Advocate General's department, the diamond and bronze color identify this one as USMC.)
    Excellent, unused condition.
